Easy to operate

Op 27 November 2023 heb ik de VIOFO A119 Mini 2 Dashcam gekocht.
Bevestiging met die film plakker heb ik weggelaten omdat die telkens loskwam, heb deze toen rechtstreeks op men voorruit geplakt langs men achteruitkijkspiegel en deze blijft mooi zitten, het afnemen van de dashcam is ook makkelijk, gewoon uitklikken door naar recht te schuiven en je hebt hem vast.
Het was even zoeken voor een goede beeldinstelling, overdag heb ik goed beeld, nummerplaten zijn goed zichtbaar, alleen 's nachts is het niet altijd even duidelijk om de nummerplaten te lezen, vooral bij tegenliggers, met HDR functie uit of aan. Ik heb wel de reflectielens erop, misschien dat het hierdoor komt, maar dat moet ik nog uitzoeken, maar al bij al voor die prijs is het toch een degelijk toestel en doordat die compact is, zit die zelfs niet in men gezichtsveld en zie ik hem eigenlijk niet zitten omdat die iets of wat achter de achteruitkijkspiegel zit, een aanrader dus!

Super kleine Dashcam
Ich habe bereits 2 Kameras davon in Betrieb und muss sagen, für den Preis und der größe eine super Bildqualität und Reaktionszeit. Ich habe die Kameras mit Klettverschluß an einer Saugnapfhalterung befestigt um somit flexibel die Kamera in andere Fahrzeuge mitnehmen zu können. Hier evtl. ein kleiner Rat an Viofo. Macht doch den Aufkleber noch nicht an das GPS-Modul dran. Sondern legt es, wie die Ersatzaufkleber dazu. So hat man selber die Möglichkeit zu entscheiden ob diese gebklebt oder anderweitig befestigt wird.

Gute Dashcam mit kleineren Problemen
Die Kamera an sich ist sehr gut. Die Bildqualität ist besser als bei vielen anderen Dashcams. 5G-Netzanbindung ist gut und schnell, bleibt aber manchmal hängen oder gerät ins stocken.
Des weiteren hängt sich die V119 Mini im Parkmodus auf. Damit ist dieser nicht nutzbar. Gern würde ich den Automatischen Modus nutzen, damit bei abgestellten Fahrzeug der Parkmodus sich aktiviert und beim Fahren wieder in den Fahrmodus zurück geht. Super wäre wenn man dann noch die Sprachausgabe stumm schalten könnte.
Die Zeit vor einem Ereignis wird scheinbar nicht aufgezeichnet oder nicht gespeichert. Hier sollten ca. 5 Sekunden vor Registrierung des Ereignisses mit gespeichert werden.
I wanted a small extra room front the back of the camper. I use the A229 Pro Front . Since the windows are completely vertical, you can't turn the camera up far enough. So I made a wedge of plywood myself, sprayed it black and glued it. Works perfectly!

Good device, small but nice
On November 27, 2023 I purchased the VIOFO A119 Mini 2 Dashcam.
I left out the mounting with the film adhesive because it kept coming loose, I then stuck it directly to my windshield along my rear view mirror and it stays in place nicely, removing the dashcam is also easy, just click it out by sliding it to the right and you have it fixed.
It took some searching front a good image setting, during the day I have a good image, license plates are clearly visible, only at night it is not always clear to read the license plates, especially with oncoming traffic, with HDR function on or off. I do have the reflection lens on it, maybe that is the cause, but I still have to find out, but all in all front that price it is a decent device and because it is compact, it is not even in my field of vision and I actually do not see it because it is somewhat rear the rear view mirror, so highly recommended!

Super small dashcam
I already have 2 of these cameras in use and I have to say that for the price and size, they have great image quality and response time. I attached the cameras to a suction cup holder with Velcro so that I could flexibly take the camera with me into other vehicles. Here maybe a little advice for Viofo. Don't put the sticker on the GPS module yet. Instead, add it like the replacement stickers. So you have the opportunity to decide for yourself whether it is glued or attached in some other way.

Good dashcam with minor issues
The camera itself is very good. The image quality is better than many other dash cams. 5G network connection is good and fast, but sometimes it gets stuck or falters.
Furthermore, the V119 Mini freezes in parking mode. This means that it cannot be used. I would like to use the automatic mode so that the parking mode is activated when the vehicle is parked and returns to driving mode when driving. It would be great if you could mute the voice output.
The time before an event appears to not be recorded or saved. Approximately 5 seconds should be saved here before the event is registered.
